SPAX T-STAR plus Trim Head fasteners with white and yellow HCR (High Corrosion Resistance) coating are designed for use in both interior and exterior wood connection applications often found around residential dwellings. These finishing trim fasteners are designed to countersink for a clean flush and near hidden finish. Cold rolled carbon steel wire heat treated to grade 5 durability and coated with a white or yellow HCR (High Corrosion Resistance) coating system. These products are to be used in both exterior and interior applications fastening materials such as composite wood and PVC trim products (e.g. AWPA UC1 UC4A, UCFA). SPAX recommends stainless steel for applications including cedar and redwood substrates.
