Thimbles install on the inside of loops to reinforce wire rope. They help prevent rope from fraying or crushing at the bearing point and extend its service life.
- Suggested applications - sleeves - used for creating eye termination on cable or wire rope, when properly applied, sleeves are capable of holding the rated breaking strength of the cable to which they are applied
- Never exceed working load limit, not intended for overhead lifting, never use a hammer or pliers on sleeves
