Stine Pineville Grand Opening is May 3 & 4
PINEVILLE, LOUISIANA, APRIL 30, 2024 - Stine Home & Yard is set to host a Grand Opening at its Pineville location, 1170 Expressway Dr., on May 3 and 4. The Pineville Stine has operated mainly as a lumber yard since 2021, following the company’s purchase of the former Martin Building Materials.
After successfully serving mostly contractors in this location, Stine President Wendy Stine says that the decision was made to add other popular offerings that Stine is known for in order to serve the DIY and home improvement customers as well.
The interior of the store has been completely reset in order to expand inventory, adding nearly 20,000 new product offerings. Three new departments added to the Pineville Stine include appliances, grilling and Stihl outdoor power equipment.
“We’re excited to expand our offerings to customers in the Alexandria and Pineville area," said Jenny Stine, VP of Merchandising. “Customers can now shop for major appliances for their kitchen and laundry room as well as grills for outdoor cooking.”
With the addition of the grilling department, Jenny Stine says that customers can choose from a variety of brand name products such as Traeger wood pellet grills, Big Green Egg charcoal grills, Weber and Blackstone gas grills and many others.
“We proudly offer better brands in appliances such as Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Maytag, just to name a few,” she added.
All merchandise found on Stinehome.com is also available to Pineville customers. Some products may be transferred from other stores, and some are available for local delivery.
The grand opening celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3 with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting (as well as a 2x4 sawing) to officially welcome customers into the newly updated retail store.
A representative from King Kooker will be cooking and serving jambalaya in the parking lot. Helping Hands Ministry will be cooking and serving free hot dogs and popcorn while Stine employees will be serving cake and drinks to attendees.
Hourly door prizes will be awarded throughout the day on both Friday and Saturday. All who enter will also be eligible to win the grand prize, an outdoor Solo Stove firepit.
In 2021 Stine acquired Martin Building Materials and moved its Alexandria location into this building and lumber yard. All Martin employees were given the opportunity transition to the Stine team where many of them continue to welcome in customers every day.
